Knife Project - Final Materials/Textures and Final Light and Display of Work - 3D Art 2 (Module 1 Week 03)

 Notes from Week 2:

- Renders are a little bright. Bring up the floor closer to the knife.

- Bake the little screws into the normal map.

- Cut the one weird ribbon-y UV shape, fix all UV's to be simpler (all having simply a front and back with the exception of screws which should have only one additional shape for the cylinder piece. Fill in open space and pack the map tighter overall.

- Don't include shot of low res without wireframe, becomes confusing.

Sprint #1 Delivery, Beginning/Middle/End, Part I (Common Art 2 Week 1)

For my first contributions to my new VR immersive experience team, I helped to come up any remaining necessary props for the asset list and created some proxy models. I also had to spend some time getting familiarized with the project after onboarding, getting up to date with the story so far, standard procedures, and figuring out what is left to be accomplished. I created the following assets and also researched best practices for creating character sculpts using ZSpheres, which is my next task!

Job Goals:

1. First choice: Theme park industry (concept art or prop modeling/asset creation).

    - Companies: Universal Creative, Walt Disney Imagineering, Falcon's Creative Group, Razorfox Creative, X Studios.

2. Second choice: Simulation industry (3D modeling).

    - Companies: Mass Virtual, 3D Media, Vcom3D.

3. Third choice: Moderate-sized game studio.

    - Companies: Iron Galaxy, Steamroller Animation, 302 Interactive.

4. Top two subjects: Characters and props (might change later!).

- Other considerations:

    - Would prefer to stay in Florida!

    - I'm open to job options outside of my preferences including larger studios (like EA).

   -  I'm very interested in high-detail realism.
